User Management – Inviting a New User
If you'd like a colleague to access your account under their own name, with their own login (instead of using your credentials), you can simply invite them as a user.
Steps to invite someone
- Log in, then go to My Account → Contacts (or Users).
- If your colleague isn't already added as a contact, add them first, with their name and email address.
- On their contact row, click "Grant Access" / "Send Invite".
- Choose which permissions they should have (e.g. viewing/managing tickets, invoices, services) – only grant what they'll actually need.
- Send the invitation.
Your colleague will then get an email with an invite link, which lets them set their own password – from then on they'll log in with their own email address and password, and won't need any of your account details.
!!! tip The invite link is only valid for a limited time for security reasons. If your colleague doesn't get to it in time, just send them a fresh invitation.
Changing permissions later
If you'd like to narrow or expand an invited user's permissions later on, you can do that any time on the Contacts / Sub-Accounts page, next to their name.
Revoking access
If someone no longer works with you, or simply doesn't need access anymore, you can revoke it in the same place with one click – this doesn't delete their contact details, it just removes their ability to log in.
If you run into trouble
If the invite fails for some reason, or your colleague never receives the email, open a ticket and we'll look into it.
