Security Settings – Changing Your Password

If you'd like to change your password while logged in (not because you've forgotten it, just because you want a new one), you can do that in a few steps.

Changing your password

  1. Log in to the client portal.
  2. Go to My Account → Security Settings.
  3. Enter your current password, then your new one twice (to confirm it).
  4. Click "Save".

After that, your old password stops working right away – if you're logged in on another device, you'll need to enter the new one there next time too.

!!! tip Pick a password you don't use anywhere else, and try to include a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and a special character or two – it makes it much harder to crack.

If you don't remember your current password

This process assumes you know your current password. If you don't even have that, you're in the wrong place – check out forgotten password instead, where you can set a new one via email without needing to log in first.

Extra protection

Alongside your password, it's worth turning on two-factor authentication too – that way your account stays protected even if someone ever gets hold of your password.
